Chrimble Deliveries

Well, it’s that time of year again! Yule trees are being put up, lights are aglow, stockings are being placed ready to be filled with hope and everyone is making plans to hopefully spend time with their loved ones this year…after an unusual and lonely festive season last year.
So on to Crumble (that’s what I call it!), as you can imagine this time of year can get a bit busy…there’s only little old me doing orders up to send, so I will work through them by date order to get them out to you. Now this can mean it takes a couple of days sometimes to process your orders, but be rest assured your goodies will be processed and you’ll have a little email to say it’s done.
With everyone being a tad busy; including the delivery companies, please be patient with receiving your order. You’ll receive an email or text (depending on what you’ve popped as your contact details) to allow you to track your goodies. I kinda have to stipulate…please put your proper email and/ or number on the order, this will allow you to change the date of your delivery or set a safe place for your items to be delivered. Your details aren’t shared and are only used if I need to contact you about the order itself and for you to be able to receive updates via the delivery company. Due to the volumes of parcels I send out, I can’t keep an eye on them all, so if you aren’t going to be in; please use the tracking to organise that safe place/neighbour/different date!
I had a few queries last year about “why did they leave it there?”, when checking, the customers hadn’t entered their correct details in order to track, or didn’t stipulate a safe place, or changed the delivery for when they were going to be in. This is out of my control and I’m not in charge of the delivery drivers, so peeerrrrrlllleeeeaaaasseee check the tracking email/text and make those changes. This isn’t a rant btw, I just don’t want you to stress about your goodies! 😊
So onto orders before Crumble! Although I will endeavour to get your parcels out as quick as I can, I can’t guarantee delivery before the big day with orders placed Christmas Week. As the Royal Mail and others have large volumes moving through the system at this time, please make sure you order in good time. I will be sending out up until:
Friday 17th December Midday- orders placed up until midday, I will endeavour to send out on that day/ Saturday which hopefully leaves enough time for you to receive in time for Chrimbo. Although again, I cannot guarantee the delivery of your items will be by the 24th, it’s all down to the delivery services and their ability to cope with demand. Orders after this time and date will still be processed and sent out as quick as humanly possible. With Covid still lurking about, causing untold issues again, some delivery services may be affected.

Royal Mail Deliveries:
Friday 17th December: Royal Mail Bulk Mail Economy
Saturday 18th December: 2nd Class Signed For, Royal Mail 48hr Delivery
Tuesday 21st December: 1st Class Signed For, Royal Mail 24hr, Royal Mail Tracked 48hr
Wednesday 22nd December: Royal Mail Tracked 24hr
Hermes:
Wednesday 22nd December: Collections as normal.
After this date, collections and drop of times vary.
Don’t forget there’s a few extra Bank Holidays this year as the Festive Days fall at the weekend, so orders won’t be processed or sent during these times.
