Coltsfoot is a feminine herb which is tended to be used for love and vision work. It is no surprise it’s planet is Venus with attributes of water. It can be added to sachets to attract love or develop self-love when we are hard on ourselves. When burnt in an incense mix is said to improve visions and useful as an aid to scrying or divination (the Romans used to smoke the herb for this purpose). Due to its sunny disposition it can be used in Sun related Sabbats such as Imbolc, Oostra and Beltane or when conducting Magick with sunny principles. As a water element is said to imbue peace and tranquility to the wearer, so may be a useful aid during meditation.
