These ritual blends are developed from my own Grimoire, as I try and become less dependent on suppliers...mainly due to rising costs and sporadic influx of goods their side, plus the number of witchy and spiritual websites that have cropped up selling the same goods..from the same suppliers, I figured I'd get back to my witchy roots and share more of my own creations. Made by me and blessed upon my altar, charged with Reiki for the intentional use during the Dark Moon phase. As a certified aromatherapist and cottage witchy, I have used my knowledge to create items that serve both metaphysical and holistic needs. Whether you are a Wiccan/ Witch/ Pagan, or whether you are more spiritual in nature rather than witchy, this oil has been created with both aspects in mind.
There are lots of generic oils with magickal attributes that tend to be used for specific rituals; such as Jasmine for moon workings, however with my research into both fields - the metaphysical and alternative therapies, I've noted some "hidden gems" with the energies to match both fields. Not purely focusing on elements, or magick, but ones that align body, mind and soul whilst also possessing magickal attributes to increase your energies. Thus allowing you to manifest in a greater way. The oils used in this blend are ethically sourced and of the highest quality and purity.
Dark Moon
This converse time of the lunar month, where shadows darken and no light exists. The time of the Crone, where wisdom rests and darkness transforms the landscape. There is sometimes a bit of confusion regarding this phase, the short window of time before the New Moon phase begins - where the Moon is hidden and no sign of it can be seen, where some regard this as being the true New Moon. Not all folk use this as a means for harmful or baneful magick such as hexing or cursing! It can be used for ourselves to face our own shadows, to release what no longer serves our soul, banish those harmful energies and unbind us from patterns we have developed, those hindering progress or cause us emotional pain. Use to cast out the old in order to clear a path for the new, in readiness for a new lunar month. Use when you are focussing on your journal writing through the waning and Dark Moon Phase, with your spell work; such as anointing spell/ritual candles and in spell jars/sachets, during your meditations, or for your bath.
So why these oils?
Bergamot is an oil quite often used for relieving anxiety, stress and depression as it possesses an uplifting scent to support the heart chakra. When we can find reasons to be uplifted, we are able to shed light on those shadows that lurk within and rid them to memory. When we are sad or suffering grief - remember grief is not only reserved for persons who have passed, we can experience grief when something from out lives has been removed suddenly, causing a void of what once was. To move forward we need to find a means to accept the void and perhaps fill it with something positive. As a metaphysical oil of protection guards our soul from negativity, possessing means to break other's energies that have attached to you, whether magickal in the sense of hex, spiritual or for those energy vampyres who seem to draw your energy away from your centre. A multi-function oil for maintaining and balancing the throat, heart, sacral and solar plexus chakra.
Cypress deals with what some may see as darker aspects of the cycle of life, such as death. However it does not necessarily mean the literal sense! It can be used to break cycles of self-defiance and self-sabotage by promoting confidence and focus, to rid self doubt which forms a shadow within ourselves. Used through the centuries for ancestral magick, it was burned as a means to honour the dead during mourning. Relating to our own work, we can honour what has passed in order to accept the lessons we have learnt, those which invite us to see a new direction blessed by the power of this oil. A protective oil, guards against negative energies during magickal or psychic working and can be used throughout the Waning Moon phase.
Geranium, although heavily floral has a gutsy approach to removing negative energy. Emotional crisis will often see us in a downward spiral, exacerbating and feeding the darkest feelings within our psyche. This oil can lift us out of the stress and negative energy cycles, allowing us to let go of those feelings that keep us down. Dispelling fear and providing courage to move forward past whatever is causing issue. It has been used within a metaphysical sense as a protective shield, both in an auric and psychic sense, used for healing emotional upheaval and yes...break negative magick that may have been sent either unintentionally or intentionally your way, such as hexes.
This mix of oils, as you may see support the main attributes of what we should strive for during the Dark and Waning Moon phase...one that releases energies that keep us down, providing protection, breaking untoward magick or releasing what no longer serves us. Use for energy unbinding spells or binding those who mean harm. Use during shadow working, or meditation related to letting go.
Comes in a 10ml frosted amber glass vial, sealed screw top lid with dropper for ease of administration.

These master ritual blends are at a ratio of 20%, making them ideal for a variety of uses. and good value for money.
If use on the body is wanted, the oil will require further dilution with a carrier oil. You can use baby oil, sunflower oil or olive oil, which we all have lurking around in our cupboards - or why not purchase one of the variety of Carrier Oils also available on this website and can be found in the Aromatherapy Collection.
A maximum of 2% dilution is recommended for use on the skin for massage or wearing during rituals to avoid sensitisation to ingredients. To obtain this dilution you can add the whole 10ml to 90ml of carrier oil, meaning you get 100ml of product. To make smaller mixes, add 4 drops to every 10ml of carrier oil.
Always patch test first prior to using on bigger areas. Place a dab of the diluted oil either behind your ear, inner elbow or forearm and wait 24-48hr before using on larger areas. Wash area and discontinue use if you have any kind of reaction to the oil.
In its original state, the oil can be used as is to anoint your candles, spell jars, spell sachets, poppets, re-scenting pot-pourri - just be mindful that it is made from oil so can mark soft furnishings, cloth and wood. A few drops should be enough when using in this manner.
Can be used with oil burners - just add a few drops (4 - 6) or so to water in the burner bowl with some water to release the scents. Use in aroma diffusers, much in the same way as an oil burner - please make sure you read the instructions of your diffuser as designs and makes vary, with regard to how water you use. A few drops again should be enough to bring the desired effect.
Add to your bath water, using a few drops (between 4-8) to scent your mind and soul and to set the mood for manifesting.
I have tried to use oils that have limited interactions with health conditions, however please do a proper check prior to using, as some may still interact with health conditions, pregnancy/ breast feeding and medications.
