Airmed is an Irish Celtic Goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann, the ancient Irish mythological race of magical beings. She is associated with healing (and in particular herbal healing) and brings to you a salve to soothe. Made with essential oils to support excessively dry skin, help calm irritation and redness while nurturing the soul.
One of the stories associated with Airmed:
The Death of Miach
After Miach’s death, Airmid was devastated. She went to his grave to grieve, and as she wept her tears watered the earth and all of the healing herbs of the world grew from Miach’s burial mound. The legend goes that there were 365 varieties in total, one for each of his sinews and joints.
As Airmed began to collect them, they spoke to her and told her all of their healing powers. She laid them out on her cloak as she was taught, organizing them into combinations that could cure every ailment on earth.
When her father saw the work that she had done, he was once again enraged and threw the cloak into the air, scattering the herbs. Because of this, no human knows all the secrets of healing herbs. The knowledge remains with Airmid, including the secret of how to use herbs to achieve immortality.

To keep these in tip-top condition always keep in a dry, cool place to prevent melting or over softening. If not kept in this way, you may find over time the balm will develop little bobbles, these do not mean the balm/ or salve is off! Due to the varying levels and types of lipids (fats) in the balms (with each having a varied heating and cooling point), when they are left in a warm environment and left to cool over a period of time, the lipids will separate slightly creating little bobbles in the balm. You can still use it, as the bobbles will just melt in your hand and can be used as normal. xx
These balms are made with 100% natural ingredients with no artificial stabilisers, colours, preservatives or emulsifiers. Not tested on animals.
As a natural product no chemical based emulsifiers or stabilisers have been used, therefore this salve is best kept in a cool, dry place or fridge to prevent destabilisation of ingredients and prolong lifespan. A patch test is recommended prior to use, wash area and discontinue use if a reaction occurs. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin. Do not use on lips, near genitalia, eyes and mucous membranes.
