An ode to Selene (Sappho, (trans. Campbell, Vol. Greek Lyric I) (C6th B.C.) 34 & 96 :
“The Astera hide away their shining form around lovely Selene (the Moon) when in all her fullnesss she shines over all the earth. Rosy-fingered Selene after sunset, surpasssing all the stars, and her light spreads alike over the salt sea and the flowery fields; the dew is shed in beauty, and roses bloom and tender chervil and flowery melilot."

Important Note:
To keep these in tip-top condition always keep in a dry, cool place to prevent melting or over softening. If not kept in this way, you may find over time the balm will develop little bobbles, these do not mean the balm/ or salve is off! Due to the varying levels and types of lipids (fats) in the balms (with each having a varied heating and cooling point), when they are left in a warm environment and left to cool over a period of time, the lipids will separate slightly creating little bobbles in the balm. You can still use it, as the bobbles will just melt in your hand and can be used as normal. xx
These balms are made with 100% natural ingredients with no artificial stabilisers, colours, preservatives or emulsifiers. Not tested on animals.
As a natural product no chemical based emulsifiers or stabilisers have been used, therefore this salve is best kept in a cool, dry place or fridge to prevent destabilisation of ingredients and prolong lifespan. A patch test is recommended prior to use, wash area and discontinue use if a reaction occurs. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin. Do not use on lips, near genitalia, eyes and mucous membranes.
You will receive a little postcard telling you all about the mystical properties and skin benefits of the balm.
Use within 12 months of opening and within 30 months of manufacture.
