A tale of Hecate:
Beside Helios, she was the only divinity who, from her cave, observed the abduction of Persephone. With torch in hand, she accompanied Demeter in the search after Persephone; and when the latter was found, Hecate remained with her as her attendant and companion. She became a deity of the under world during the time of Greek tragedians and is described in this capacity as a mighty and formidable divinity, ruling over the souls of the departed, she is the goddess of purifications and expiations, and is accompanied by Stygian dogs. She was regarded as a spectral being, who at night sent from the lower world all kinds of demons and terrible phantoms, who taught sorcery and witchcraft, who dwelt at places where two roads crossed each other.

Important Note:
To keep these in tip-top condition always keep in a dry, cool place to prevent melting or over softening. If not kept in this way, you may find over time the balm will develop little bobbles, these do not mean the balm/ or salve is off! Due to the varying levels and types of lipids (fats) in the balms (with each having a varied heating and cooling point), when they are left in a warm environment and left to cool over a period of time, the lipids will separate slightly creating little bobbles in the balm. You can still use it, as the bobbles will just melt in your hand and can be used as normal. xx
These balms are made with 100% natural ingredients with no artificial stabilisers, colours, preservatives or emulsifiers. Not tested on animals.
As a natural product no chemical based emulsifiers or stabilisers have been used, therefore this salve is best kept in a cool, dry place or fridge to prevent destabilisation of ingredients and prolong lifespan. A patch test is recommended prior to use, wash area and discontinue use if a reaction occurs. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin. Do not use on lips, near genitalia, eyes and mucous membranes.
