Protection this Samhain

So for those in the know, Samhain/Halloween is a time when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. This makes contacting other world spirits and deceased a little easier, so divination, clairvoyance, crystalmancy, ouija is often practiced at this time. For those who are new to this, there is some heed required when conducting this. Ensure you stay safe, protected and clear yourself after any interactions. Energies are prime at this time and some may be unwanted or find a way to latch if you aren’t prepared or unaware. It is also a time when many set to casting and carry out out rituals, so plenty of energies hanging around in the aether!!!

Some ideas:

Gemstones and crystals are always a good go to and are easily portable, keep as many around as you can. If you have a silver or gold pen then perhaps draw a sigil on them for an extra layer. Choose ones that provide protection from psychic attack or dispel unwanted spirits.

Some goods ones are:
Black Onyx, Black Tourmaline, Agate, Blood Stone, Peridot, Emerald, Peridot, Labradorite.

Casting a salt circle or guard your corners with salt. Don’t forget to close your circle!

Protection with a circle of light, this may be achieved metaphorically with visualisation and meditation or by using candles set with intention to ward off energy. You can anoint your candles with essential oils or herbs too!

Smudge or burn incenses such as White Sage or Palo Santo to clear your space of unwanted energy and to purify. You can also smudge yourself!

Salt bath- use Himalayan or Epsom salts to clear yourself of energies that may have attached to your aura. Mix with essential oils such as Myrhh to assist with cleansing.

Ground yourself! Step out onto the earth with bare feet, hug a tree, meditate - do what you prefer to send energies back to the earth!

I sell various items to help with this such as Himalayan salt bars, gemstones, smudge sticks , resins and incense. Enjoy Samhain, but don’t forget this forms an important part!
